At Wollongong City Optical we offer bulk billed eye tests with our qualified Optometrists.

Book an eye test appointment online or contact us to make a booking.

You can also make an appointment to bring in your current prescription and our Optical Dispensers can assist you with choosing and fitting a new pair of glasses.

Regular eye examinations not only help ensure you have the right glasses or contact lenses for optimal eyesight; they are also recommended for early diagnosis of a variety of eye conditions such as glaucoma or age-related macular degeneration.

Bulk Billing

Eye examinations are bulk billed with a valid Medicare card or Veteran's Affairs Card. Any extra costs are explained up front with cash and card payments accepted.

Eye Examinations

A comprehensive vision and ocular health assessment is performed. Optical prescriptions are given. Co-management with Opthalmology is available.

Technology

The latest technology is used to provide intelligent eyecare. Digital instruments including retinal imaging. OCT, visual fields and corneal topography is available.

Children’s Vision

Children of all ages can be examined. Binocular vision assessment and Myopia management is available. Co-management is paediatric ophthalmology is utilised.

RMS exams

RMS (driving licence) are performed at the practice.

Contact Lenses

All types of contact lenses can be fitted and supplied. This includes soft and hard lenses. Contact Lens fitting fees may apply.
